He is Prime’s brother and the once beloved Lord High Protector of Cybertron. Now he is the most dangerous Transformer in the universe, and the antithesis of goodness, justice, mercy, and kindness. Single-minded in his purpose of obtaining the Allspark, Megatron was defeated by Sam Witwicky when he was consumed by the very power he lusted for. Now, with the intervention of a renewed Decepticon force, Megatron has returned. The Allspark has given him unspeakable strength – such strength, in fact, that he has burst out of his watery prison in the Laurentian Abyss, and has returned to shake the very pillars of the heavens. But a darker secret haunts Megatron – the knowledge of his brother, Optimus Prime. What will happen when these two siblings face each other in this final, galactic war? Now his new powers shall be put to the test against the ancient sentinel Optimus Prime, and the might of Fleet V.

Weapons: Thanks to the Allspark’s power, Megatron’s body has become virtually indestructible. His Cybertronian alloy is now called ‘Lord High Protector’ armour. This has culminated in his Scrambling Stealth Deflector Shields, cloaking him when he sees fit and when he makes surprise attacks on Autobot enemies. He possesses unspeakable power with his newly upgraded ‘Dominion’ Fusion Cannon, able to destroy entire armies with one shot – even Prime’s Dragon Convoy armour is not completely invulnerable to it. At Megatron’s discretion, Dominion expands into two more trajectory-aligned weapons called Obliteration Nova Generators, giving him threefold firepower. These dual Obliteration Nova Generators are capable of destroying entire planets, making them interstellar weapons used in outer space. His Quasar Displacement Blaster is a long-range field dominance weapon, siphoning the power and energy from nearby stars of a trillion kilometre radius and converting it into firepower. His favourite weapon in melee combat, should his ‘Reaver’ Rocket Claw be insufficient, is his converting Cybertron Class ‘Slaughter’ Chain Whip, not only a devastating weapon but also symbolic of his tyranny over lesser, weaker beings.
